What is this?
The IECEE National Acceptance Certificate is a SASO requirement under the global IECEE CB Scheme, the international system for the mutual recognition of test reports and certificates for electrical and electronic equipment. For many regulated products, this acceptance must be in place before the goods can be placed on the Saudi market.
The CB Scheme works on a simple principle: a product tested once against the relevant IEC standards, by an accredited laboratory, can be recognised across participating member countries. The IECEE National Acceptance Certificate is the step that brings that internationally recognised CB test result into the Saudi conformity framework.
RACS performs the conformity assessment: we review the technical documentation, examine the IEC and CB test reports and certificates against the applicable requirements, handle the Arabic technical documents the file needs, and support certificate issuance from the first submission through to approval.
The IECEE acceptance does not replace your SASO Certificate of Conformity, it complements it. For electrical and electronic goods, both work together, and the file is handled through the SASO / SABER framework, so the assessment and your wider conformity record stay aligned.
