01

What is this?

The SASO Water Efficiency Label communicates a product's water consumption rating to the Saudi consumer. It is mandatory on products such as taps, showerheads, washing machines, dishwashers, irrigation drippers and other water-consuming appliances sold in KSA.

The label is awarded after testing against the relevant SASO standard and validating the consumption claim.

03

How it works

  1. 01

    Eligibility check

Confirm your product falls under the labelling scope and identify the applicable SASO standard.

  2. 02

    Lab testing

Samples are tested at an accredited lab to measure water consumption.

  3. 03

    Label application

Test results are submitted to SASO and a label with the consumption rating is issued.

  4. 04
